很多同学分不清another， other，others等之类的词，这些词也是历届中高考的常考考点。这节课形象化理解这些词，供大家深刻记忆。

辨析

接下来详细讲解这类词的用法与区别：

一、泛指“另一个”，用another 

eg: I don't like this one. Please show me another.

我不喜欢这个。请给我看看另一个。

二、指一定范围内的两个人/物，一个用one，另一个用the other

eg: I have two Russian friends. One is a doctor, the other is a teacher. 

我有两个俄罗斯朋友。一个是医生，另一个是老师。

三、在一定范围内的三个人/物，一个用one，另一个用one/another，第三个用the third. 

eg: There are 3 apples. One is for you,one/another is for him,

the third is for me. 一个是你的，另一个是他的，还有一个是我的。

四、特指一个范围内，除去一部分人/物后，剩余的全部用the others.

eg: There are seven pencils on the desk. One is for you,the others are for me. 一个是给你的，其它的是给我的。 (剩下6支铅笔都是给我的。)

五、泛指别的人或物用others ，当在一定范围内，除掉一部分后，剩余部分里面的一些。

注意：所指的其他人并非其他所有的人，指其他部分的全部

eg: some people are watching TV, others are playing football. 我们在看电视，其余的人打乒乓球。

这里的其余others,并不包括剩余的一切。others=other + 复数名词，这两个词组不包括所有的其余。others = other +复数名词 “不包括所有的其余”
